The Roots of Curry in Japan
Curry was introduced to Japan from India to England. Thank you India for making curry. We thank England for introducing us to this delicious dish. It was introduced from England and grew up in Japan. This curry is completely different from Indian curry. One bite of this curry will fill your mouth with happiness due to its complex flavor and aroma. Do not put pizza cheese or pork cutlets on top of the curry. You will fall in love with the curry. It is very dangerous.
This is the first dish that Japanese elementary school students cook at their first camp. This recipe is so easy and delicious that a child can cook it outside for the first time.
Just cook the ingredients and melt the curry roux!

There is also a gluten-free and allergen-free curry roux that does not contain wheat (gluten), milk, eggs, peanuts, buckwheat, shrimp, or crab.
Unfortunately, however, it does not seem to be sold in the US.
Step1.Saute chopped ingredients.
1.Meat, onions, carrots, and potatoes are all placed in a pot and stir-fried thoroughly.
POINT
Fry the surface of the meat to lock the umami into the meat.
Fry onions until brown without burning them, which gives them a sweet taste and makes the curry tastier.
Step2.Simmer ingredients.
2.Add 750ml water and simmer for 10 minutes.
3.Carefully remove the scum.
Step3.Melt curry roux.
Turn off the gas stove.
4.Add curry roux and melt..
Turn on the gas stove.
5.Once the curry roux is firmly melted, turn on the heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
Turn off the heat to help the roux melt. However, if you leave it as it is, it will remain watery without any thickening. Therefore, it is recommended to simmer the roux on the fire again to get a good thickening.
Finish
Serve with more rice and pour over the curry.

If you fail in cooking and produce food that does not taste good, it is okay.

Curry Toast
Curry is delicious toasted on bread with cheese on top. And that is healthier than "curry bread" fried in Japanese oil.
